Rob’s Monster Green Smoothie

My favorite way to break my fast is my a’Beachin Monster Green Smoothie.  My smoothie is an adaptation of Jon Hippensteel’s Shake of Life.  Mine is simpler, but feel free to go try either or combine ingredients to make the best smoothie for your.  My goal has been to put high quality, high calorie super foods in my break fast breaker in order to rebuild to the max.    Here we go……..

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 to 4 tbs Peanut Powder

2 tbs Rolled Oats

2 tbs Chia Seeds

1/4 to 1/2 tsp Cayanne Powder

1/2 tbs Maca Powder

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tbs Spirilina

2 tbs Cocoa Powder

3 tbs Ground Flax Seed

1/2 tbs diced raw ginger

2 Large Dates

2 to 4 tbs Walnuts (soaked over night in water and rinsed – will keep in refrigerator for a week or more)

1/2 cup frozen peas

1 cup frozen Kale

1 – 2 cups water

1 – 2 cups ice

ADD water and all dry ingredients except peas and kale into high powered blender – blend till smooth – add peas and kale – blend – add ice and blend until smooth – ENJOY
